Aknowledgments

The first feed-backs by the Internet users who surfed on my website led me to create this final heading. I want here to associate to this humble success all the persons who have more or less taken part in it. May all the friendly messages left in the visitors’book be also dedicated to them.

@ This very beautiful trip has first of all been possible thanks to Pollen Voyage ( finally I didn’t recall the name of the person who made my passport in 2001). While the other agencies were still looking for the rare bird in their catalogues, for our request was specific without being harebrained, Pollen Voyage made up our file, step-by-step, taking into account each of our wishes. During the return journey, we got seats on an Orly-Brest flight on a Friday afternoon, once more thanks to Pollen Voyage (we had missed our connection because of the delay of the Colombo-Paris flight). Thanks to Charlotte and Cathy who stayed at work at lunch time. Should you want a tailor-made journey with no worries and the security of quality service for a reasonable cost ® Pollen Voyage  .

@ Dinesha, Dinantha, Kumara, Hemali, Mala and the others
Whether they work in the offices of Colombo or Hambantota, whether they are director, project manager or driver, I thank, from deep in my heart, all the persons of the CCF in Sri Lanka, we met during this journey. Dinesha with whom I exchange a lot of mails to prepare this journey. Dinesha again who with Dinantha came on a Saturday, public holiday, to welcome us in the office of Colombo. Mala, Hemali and Kumara who came with us during two days on the different sites. It’s necessary to know that it’s not the usual “service” for a sponsorship visit. Above all I want to congratulate them and thank them for the wonderful work they do in Sri Lanka within the CCF. Their organization, their involvement and the results they get command respect.

@ Of course none of this would have existed without “Un enfant par la main” the association through which I sponsor Sandeepa. I know them less personally than the teams of the CCF I met in Sri Lanka but their work is important as well and deserves as much attention. Sponsors are often thanked or congratulated by “Un enfant par la main” for their actions; in our turn we would like to thank and congratulate all the permanent employees of “Un enfant par la main”.

@ Those who wanted to join in our project by giving presents to Sandeepa:
My mother for all the school stationery which will benefit a lot of children.
Babel and Amélie for the numerous clothes.
Gaëlle and Tifène for the yellow skirt and the bracelet ( visible on the photos).

@ My older sister who took time during her holidays to help me for the English translation of the website. “Thank you so much my dear old sister!” (In English in the text)
(It was a great pleasure my dear “little” brother to help you and to “meet”, thanks to your story, this beautiful and lovely little girl: Sandeepa.)

@ Lydie who accepted to come with me in this adventure and also sponsors a little girl in Senegal. (may be the occasion of a future journey to meet N’Deye ...)

@ Munidasa and Malani who despite their poor financial situation have taken their granddaughter in and do their best to bring her up in good conditions.

@ Sandeepa. Why should I thank her? You may ask. She receives particular attention all through the story, we give her presents, we help her, we all work for her: “Un enfant par la main”, her grandparents, her sponsor. Yes indeed, thank you Sandeepa, thanks to you I can do something good, I feel useful, very simply; and you can’t imagine how happy I am by doing this. One day maybe you’ll read these lines and you’ll understand why I thank you. Or better we’ll talk about it.
